Why Tara?
“May you live every day of your life”
-Jonathan Swift
An avid traveler and believer in the rejuvenating effects of “taking time off”, my journeys have taken me from the ancient ruins of Peru and rainforests of the Brazilian Amazon to the temples of Japan and the Himalayan mountain ranges of Nepal. I founded my coaching practice because I am truly passionate about Coaching as a means of helping people dream, plan and execute the extended life sabbatical experiences they have always wanted. My mission is to empower people to change their lives (and ultimately the world at large,) through meaningful international travel and volunteer opportunities.
I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach; a graduate of the prestigious Coaches Training Institute and have also completed CTI’s year-long intensive Leadership Development Program. I am a member in good standing with the International Coach Federation, a Founding Member of the International Association of Coaches and have served as an active Board Member of SF Coaches, an association of professional coaches in the San Francisco Bay Area. In the summer of 2007 I traveled to South Korea where I co-designed and led coaching and empowerment workshops for Korean teenagers in partnership with the Korea Leadership Center in Seoul. I am honored to have been a National Finalist for the 2007 eWomen Network Emerging Leader of the Year Award.
